About

I am a highly experienced Registered Nurse with more than 30 years experience in Emergency and Acute care, I hold a BSc (Hons) in Nursing, an MSc in Interprofessional Practice - Civil Emergency Management and a Diploma in the Medical Care of Catastrophes.  My MSc Dissertation focused on Hospital Triage during Mass Casualty Events.  

Key areas of teaching interest are Acute, Emergency Care and Major Incident management.

I am currently the module leader for the Acutely Unwell Adult and Trauma Care: Initial Assessment and Management (CPD modules).
