Mrs Suzan Thompson


Suzan is a Registered Nurse with more than 30 years experience in Emergency and Acute care, she holds a BSc (Hons) in Nursing, an MSc in Interprofessional Practice - Civil Emergency Management and a Diploma in the Medical Care of Catastrophes.  Her MSc Dissertation focused on Hospital Triage during Mass Casualty Events.  

Key areas of teaching interest are Acute, Emergency Care and Major Incident management.

Suzan is currently the module leader for the Acutely Unwell Adult and Trauma Care: Initial Assessment and Management (CPD modules).  She is also the Pathway Leader (BSc) for the Acute and Critical Care Pathway.
