I am an experienced emergency department nurse and joined the Faculty in 2009 as a clinical skills lecturer .My key areas of teaching expertise are acute and critical illness and emergency and trauma care with a particular interest in mental health and alcohol problems within the emergency setting. My current role focuses on supporting students undertaking workforce development courses both as a module leader for Emergency Practice but also as Course Director for the BSc Healthcare Practice programme. I am also International Lead for the School of Nursing.
