Ms Julie Hendry

About

I am a Therapeutic Radiographer who, after a long successful clinical career joined the University in 2009. I am passionate educator with a belief that everyone has a right to education, that beginnings should not dictate aspirations and that all students should be supported to achieve and attain at least to expected/predicted outcomes. My belief includes a community focus; I have been the Chair of Governors at a local primary school for almost fifteen years.

I became Course Director in 2014 and enjoy leading our small programme developing student radiographers to become the healthcare practitioners of the future.

I am presently studying for an Educational Doctorate exploring 'caring' in therapeutic radiography education.
