Ms Yasmeen Malik

I am the Course Director & Senior Lecturer for the Therapeutic Radiography Programme in the Radiotherapy & Oncology section based at St George's University.  We are the only University in the UK dedicated entirely to medical and health sciences education and research.  My role includes programme management, student experience, research, professional practice and teaching.

My other academic roles include Course Admissions Tutor, External Examiner for the University of Salford, External Reviewer for the University of Malta, and Radiotherapy Treatment Planning Lead.

My professional career has enabled me to work in clinical, academic, and education management.  My NHS experience of 20 years includes working at Band 8A as the Radiotherapy Treatment Team Lead; Treatment Planning Lead; Radiographer-led image verification Lead, Clinical Learning Facilitator at Imperial NHS Trust, and Education Manager in an NHS Screening Centre.

I recommend studying Therapeutic Radiography, the future career prospects are excellent with opportunities to work in management, education, and advanced/consultant level clinical practice.

NSS Survey score for 2020 was 100% for Therapeutic Radiography at St Georges' University of London.
