I am a Professor of International Business and Corporate Sustainability at Kingston University. My research areas of expertise are business ethics, sustainability, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, especially in relation to international business, and interactions with local, national and international stakeholders. I welcome applications from PhD students who would like to work in this area.
I joined Kingston University in 1997 and my background is in financial economics. I hold a PhD in International Business from Royal Holloway, University of London, and have professional experience in business education and management in Lebanon, Russia, Egypt and France.
Alongside my work at Kingston University, I am a member of the UK and Ireland Chapter Steering Committee to the United Nations Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME). I am also a member of the Race Equality Working Group for the Chartered Association of Business Schools.
Prior to my academic career, I worked in industry as a management accountant.
I am a strong advocate of making a difference in people's lives through business education.
