Susan Strong

About

Susan is a Senior Lecturer, Visiting Professor and a Registered Nurse (Adult).

Susan has extensive senior management experience in both higher education and in clinical practice. Susan has successfully led curriculum design, implementation and ensured quality assurance of a range of under graduate and post graduate programmes, including Advanced Practice and Major Incidents. Further academic experience includes, Chairing the following meetings; Board of Examiner's, Validation Panel, Student Staff Consultative Committee's, as well as student Discretionary and Disciplinary Hearing's for two parent universities.

Susan's research interests are in interprofessional education and interprofessional practice. Susan is a member of a faculty Systematic Review. Susan is also a reviewer for the Journal of Interprofessional Care.

Susan's main teaching areas include; research methods and evidence-based practice Susan supervises medical and healthcare student research projects to develop clinical practice.

Susan leads an international, inter professional staff and student, Exchange Programme with Tokyo Metropolitan University, Japan.
