Business Management BSc(Hons) with business experience and choice of specialisms: Facilities

About our modern teaching environment

There is a wide range of facilities at our Kingston Hill campus, where this course is based.

Kingston Hill campus

Kingston Hill is a leafy, hillside campus situated about three miles away from Kingston town centre. It is a quiet, secure place to study with easy access to London, meaning it provides the best of all worlds for our students.

Kingston Business School

The £26million Kingston Business School building stands at the heart of the campus. It provides teaching and social space, together with Business School's academics, tutors, support staff and student facilities making it a real hub for your time at Kingston.

Kingston Hill campusThe Business School building, which opened in 2012, provides plenty of spaces for staff and students to learn together and a bright, airy atrium with a cafe, laptop bars, sofas, tables and chairs for informal learning.

The variety of learning and studying spaces throughout the building make it both a stimulating and peaceful place to study.

Learning resources centre

Kingston Hill library, also known as Nightingale Centre Learning Resources Centre (LRC) provides high quality support (face to face and online) to assist with learning and research at Kingston University. It combines books (electronic and printed) computers and laptops in a pleasant study environment including the Learning Café.

The library is open 24 hours a day (Sunday to Thursday nights) in key teaching weeks, whilst the library online chat service is available seven days a week and can be used on and off campus along with electronic resources.

The library is zoned for all your different study needs and offers you a wide range of study spaces including an Assisted Technology Room (ATR), group study rooms and a Bloomberg trading room (where different trading techniques can be applied in practice using live data). We are one of only a few UK universities to offer this facility.

Computer and online facilities

There are many computers (PCs and Macs) available for you to use across the Kingston Hill campus when you need a place to study. Access to the wireless network across the campus means you can also work from your laptop or mobile device.

Using IT to support your studies is crucial. Kingston has an innovative virtual learning environment called Canvas. This allows you to access course materials and contact fellow students and staff while away from the campus.
