Study social sciences

Our psychology, business psychology and forensic psychology degrees are designed to develop your skills for a wide range of careers and are accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), so you'll be eligible for membership of the society upon graduation. Our courses are delivered by academic staff with internationally recognised expertise in psychological research. As well as being able to study psychology on its own, you can also combine the subject with criminology or sociology.

Your learning is supported by our excellent facilities; our purpose built laboratories give you access to the latest psychological analysis equipment including eye trackers, a driving simulator, EEG (the recording of brain activity) and an observation lab for interviews and behavioural recordings and specialised cognitive and physiological testing.

Our sociology courses explore the nature of society, human relationships and behaviour, studying issues around power and inequality, social change, conflict and development. You'll explore these ideas in real-world settings, including the chance to take a placement, and complete your own research project.

Our criminology courses offer a unique student experience by combining your learning and teaching with real-world impact. Our south west London location enables you to easily visit high profile law institutions and criminal courts and provides opportunities for placement giving you valuable real-world experience to enhance your CV.
