Study engineering

Whatever your engineering interest, there's a course for you at Kingston. We cover a wide range of subject areas: mechanical, civil, aerospace and aircraft.

Our mechanical engineering courses focus on the design, testing and development of vehicles and components, from concept through to production. You'll have access to the latest technology and industry standard equipment, such as a 3D design studio, a mechanical engineering workshop, automotive testing facilities, two large-scale wind tunnels and a range of cars and motorcycles.

Our aerospace, aircraft and aviation engineering degrees offer an innovative programme and excellent links with the industry. You'll learn how to design, manufacture and operate aircraft, spacecraft, rockets and satellites in our industry standard facilities, which include a rocket propulsion laboratory, a Learjet 25, wind tunnels, a mission control room, a Merlin flight simulator, manufacturing workshops, a satellite ground station and a 3D prototype printer.

Our graduates have gone on to work for leading organisations including Boeing, BAE Systems, Airbus, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Monarch Airlines and the British Army. Our aerospace and aircraft degrees are accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS).

Our civil and infrastructure degrees develop your knowledge and skills through a combination of laboratory experimentation, specialist projects, site visits and field work.
