Late arrivals: Home students

How to enrol

To become an official Kingston University student, you will need to complete Stage 1: Online enrolment and Stage 2: In-person enrolment when you arrive.

Stage 1: Online enrolment

You should have received your Stage 1: Online Enrolment email instructions from the Kingston University Admissions Team – so please check your inbox and complete the task.

Completing Stage 1: Online Enrolment will unlock your course timetable on OSIS and the Kingston University app (within 48 hours of completing online enrolment). If you have not received an email, don't worry! Please proceed straight to Stage 2: In-person enrolment.

Stage 2: In-person enrolment

You must complete Stage 2: In-person enrolment when you arrive on campus to fully enrol as an official Kingston University student. The final date to do this is Friday 4 October.

  1. This will start the process to release your student funding. (Once you are enrolled we will confirm with the government you have started at Kingston University, and 3 – 5 working days later you should receive the first payment into your chosen account.)
  2. You will receive your Kingston University ID card (which is also your library card and swipe card access) and gain access to your Kingston University email, My Kingston (our student intranet), Canvas (our virtual learning environment) and much more!

Please visit the Late Enrolment Centre in Room 1007, John Galsworthy Building, Penrhyn Road campus between 9am-5pm, as soon as possible in the week commencing Monday 23 September. You will need to bring:

  • your Kingston University ID number
  • your OSIS username and password
  • original proof of identity*
  • confirmation of funding for tuition fees

Start your course!

Once you complete enrolment you should be able to access your course timetable on OSIS or the KU app.

If you can't view your course timetable, just pop into your Faculty Student Office who will be able to help you until your course timetable goes live. Plus, we recommend you visit your Faculty Student Office to get the contact details for your personal tutor and send an email to introduce yourself and ask any questions you have about the start of your course.
