International orientation sessions

17 - 18 September 2019

The Welcome and Induction Week will include a series of 'information sessions' on 17 and 18 September designed to help new students have a better understanding of the support available at Kingston. Two of these sessions are specifically for new International and EU students:

International orientation

This session will cover all the basics that international students need to know when they are new to the UK, including how to open a bank account, using public transportation, and registering at the medical centre.

Immigration and Visa Compliance

This session is for students who are in the UK on a Tier 4 student visa, and will cover the visa and immigration support we offer, information on working in the UK (during your studies and after), and visa compliance regulations.
