Scholarships and bursaries

A variety of scholarships and bursaries are available to overseas and home / EU students. Here are the different types you can apply for:

International scholarships

The International Office awards more than £250,000 worth of partial scholarships to international students every year. These scholarships are only available to students who are classified with an 'overseas' fee status.

Faculty scholarships

The faculties at Kingston University offer their own range of course-specific scholarships which are available to a variety of Overseas and European students.

External scholarships

Various sources of funding are available to international students from external organisations. Please note that these awards are administrated outside of Kingston University.

Loyalty bursaries

Kingston University offers a 10% discount off tuition fees for international students who are applying for a full-time programme and are either:

  • returning to Kingston University after successfully completing a programme here; or
  • have a family connection to Kingston University; or
  • have completed an international exchange programme at Kingston University.

Home and EU scholarships

Annual Fund postgraduate scholarships

Through gifts made by Kingston alumni to the Annual Fund, Kingston University's Development Office is offering a number of postgraduate scholarships for UK and EU students (classified as 'Home' for fees purposes). They are available for all courses (except teacher training/PCGE courses) and will pay 50% of the fees (up to £3,000) for a one year full-time or two year part-time masters programme.
