Art and Design foundation scholarship
The Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture is offering scholarships for 2008 entry to international students who:
- are classified as "overseas" for fee purposes
- complete the one-year Art and Design foundation course
- progress to a three-year undergraduate BA(Hons) degree programme at Kingston
The scholarship amounts to £500 in the first year and £1,000 in the third year of the course.

Curating Contemporary Design MA scholarship
The Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture is offering one scholarship for a Chinese student for 2010/11 entry wishing to study the Curating Contemporary Design MA. The scholarship covers fees and a maintenance grant of £10,000. It is supported by the Sino-British Fellowship Trust.
We are looking for candidates with experience of curating contemporary art, design and media who would benefit from the programme in London. On completion, you must return to China to further develop your curatorial practice.
If you wish to apply for the scholarship, you need to submit:
- a Kingston University masters application form
- a referee form
- 1,000 word statement (written in English) explaining how the scholarship would make a difference to your professional development
Send completed applications and requests for further information to the postgraduate admissions administrator at designpostgrad@kingston.ac.uk. Scholarship applications must be made in English and submitted by 2 April 2010 for September 2010 entry.
MA Design for Development Audi Design Foundation scholarships
The Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture is offering two annual scholarships for its MA Design for Development or MA by Research programmes.
Supported by the Audi Design Foundation and Kingston University, each scholarship covers the 2009/10 tuition fees and a maintenance and travel grant of £11,000.
The Faculty is looking for candidates from developing countries, including China, India and South Africa, who would not otherwise be able to study sustainable design at postgraduate level in the United Kingdom.
You need to demonstrate that your research project will create a positive change in people’s lives in your home country by supporting and promoting sustainable design.

Faculty of Business and Law scholarships
Diana Winstanley bursaries: Diana Winstanley bursary awards of £1,000 each are available annually for both home/EU and international students. There are four bursaries available for courses starting in September each year and four for courses starting in February.
Dean's award bursaries for MBA students: Eight bursaries, each worth £4,000, are available each year for full-time MBA students. Five of these are for September entry and the remaining three are for the February intake.
Veolia Environnement bursaries: These two awards are offered by Veolia Environnement and are each worth £5,000. They are available to all students accepted onto the MBA Executive programme.

Faculty of Computing, Information Systems and Mathematics scholarships
The Faculty of Computing, Information Systems and Mathematics offers a number of teaching assistant scholarships each year, which are open to both Home/EU and international students. The deadline for receipt of applications for these scholarships is 31 July for September intake and 30 November for January intake. Please visit the Faculty website for more information.
