Nine English institutions, led by researcher Michelle Morgan, will be conducting the study to identify the motivators and barriers that either encourage or prevent British citizens resident in the UK participating in full-time and part-time MSc courses. The subsequent aim is to make the changes required to prompt more to go on to postgraduate study in the future.
Thanks to our involvement, Kingston is able to offer 40 fee-paying scholarships on a number of our key science, engineering and computing courses – for both full- and part-time study. In return for a scholarship, students will be asked to participate in some exciting research activities that will not only assist them during their time with us – but improve the experience of future students.
The scholarships are available to residents and workers local to Kingston University who are also British citizens. Find out more about the project and the eligibility criteria for the scholarships.
