Kingston offers funding assistance to businesses

Posted Tuesday 31 July 2012

Kingston University is home to a wealth of knowledge, expertise and facilities. Your business or organisation could benefit from our enterprise services such as a consultancy, contract research and training for your employees.

There are currently two 'voucher' schemes available to part fund business-university collaboration. These can be redeemed against enterprise services offered here at Kingston.

1. Innovation vouchers – run by the Technology Strategy Board (TSB)

For SMEs in the following sectors:

A voucher provides a grant of up to £5,000 to help a business pay for external expertise from a university.

Full information and criteria is available on the TSB website.

2. Enterprise Voucher Scheme – run by Kingston University

This scheme supports smaller project collaborations between small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) and Kingston University.

The vouchers can be used towards the cost of Kingston enterprise services with the aim of fostering longer-term partnerships. Vouchers are available for up to £10,000 (including VAT) not exceeding 40% of the total project value.

Applications are now open on an ongoing basis so that successful projects can start with minimal delay.
