Kingston School of Art

As one of the UK's leading arts institutions, our unwavering focus on excellence in art and design, and media and creative practice, shines through in the influence of our globally-situated and celebrated alumni, subject rankings, research performance, industry and student awards, as well as the leading brands and institutions that have chosen to work with us.

We have recently invested £32m in a major refurbishment project at Kingston School of Art's Knights Park campus to provide students with world-class workshop spaces and design studios.

Professional skills are taught alongside research and theory, by high-quality teachers and industry practitioners, with all courses culminating in a major project. You'll also benefit from cross-disciplinary project opportunities and collaborations.

Many courses even offer opportunities to work on live industry briefs or to take work placements in industry.

Rankings

In the latest Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023 League Tables, Kingston was ranked No.1 in London for Art and Design (and top 5 in the UK).

“My favourite part of the campus is the 3D workshop area where I can spend hours creating architectural models. I also love the field trips to places around Europe to explore architecture from different perspectives.”
