Study architecture

Our architecture degree is validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and prescribed by the Architects Registration Board (ARB). You'll graduate with RIBA Part 1 exemption -the first step towards becoming an architect.

The historic building conservation course is supported by the National Heritage Training Group (NHTG), which includes English Heritage, the National Trust, Historic Royal Palaces and CITB Construction Skills.

You'll develop skills and knowledge through tackling practical design projects. Projects are often set by external organisations, giving you real experience of working for professional clients.

Our courses are taught by a team of talented practicing architects and industry experts whose work is widely recognised, with access to current conservation projects.

Our purpose-built studios will allow you to develop your skills in a professional environment. Kingston architecture students often feature in prestigious national and international awards, such as the AJ Student Prize and the RIBA President's Medals.
