In this talk, Tracy Playle - a specialist digital communications consultant and award-winning public speaker - will share how you can use social media and social technologies to advance your own career, and enhance your business:

• How can you use social media to raise your own profile and promote yourself and your skills in business and the job market?
• How can you use social media effectively to promote your business and how can you cut through the noise online?
• How can you use social media to enhance your own knowledge, and use it to enhance your career and professional development?

In this fast-paced session, Tracy will share advice, tips and techniques for you to try, new ways of thinking about social media as a professional tool, and her own personal experiences of growing a business and a personal profile through enhanced use of social media.

Tracy Playle is the founder and director of strategic communications consultancies, Pickle Jar Communications Ltd and Utterly Content Ltd, having previously worked in communications for the University of Warwick. Prior to founding her first consultancy in 2007, Tracy worked as Head of Research TV, a broadcast public relations service that raised the profile of university research on television channels around the world and online.
