Comedian to have students in stitches

Television funnyman Brian Conley will make a guest appearance at Kingston University later this month.

The Grimleys' star has agreed to do a cabaret performance at the Students' Union Colours Dinner on April 5. The annual event, being sponsored by Bentalls, recognises the achievements of the University's rising sports stars. Awards will be presented to students who have represented Kingston in a range of sports, including some who have competed at national level.

The winners of the coveted university sportsman and sportswoman of the year awards will also be announced. Screen favourite Conley will present the trophies. "This is the first time I've ever done cabaret at a university and I'm really looking forward to the experience," he said.
