Research project: Synthesis aand characterisation of polyaniline based elastomeric blend

Abstract

The synthesise the conductive Polyaniline via chemical polymarization in the presence of protonating agents under different conditions in order to study the influence of those synthetic conditions and morphological characteristic of the conductive polymers. Doped Polyaniline will be blended with Polyepechlorohydrin copolymer and terpolymer with weight fractions of Polyaniline. The blends will be casted into thin films via solution and melt blending, and also anlalysed by thermal anlaysis, electical analysis ,electrical conductivity, Gel permeation chromatography and electron microscopy.

Biography

I worked as a laboratory technician in estalished sewage treatment plant for four years in India. Then, I found opportunity to study Masters in Analytical Chemistry in Kingston University to enhance my lab skills. Currently, I am doing PhD in Material Science, synthesising conducting elastomeric polymer blend. At the same time, I am working as a science lab technician in Regent Independent college.
