Research project: Effectiveness of Occupational health and safety management system in Nigeria. A comparative study

Abstract

The importance of occupational health and safety has become increasingly important as it reflects on the way organisation conduct their businesses, which requires different countries to adopt a various system to ensure the effective health and safety of workers at the workplace. However, there have been significant challenges as the world advances in the way of life and work which makes having a dynamic occupational health and safety management system important. Therefore, this thesis is all about the effect of occupational health and safety polices and measures towards individual safety awareness and risk and hazard handling among countries (developing and developed countries).

Biography

A Research student and part qualified ACCA candidate with over four years of experience working mainly in Accounting, Sales, and Customer service and as a research analyst. Possesses a strong academic background in BA (Hons) Accountancy and MSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance. Has developed skills in Excel, Sage 50, VT Plus, Salesforce amongst other software through both professional and academic career. Also, a current founder of a start up company looking to build it up and expand base across the world.
