Research project: Face analysis using Deep Architectures and Adversarial Learning

Facial analysis and specifically face synthesis and editing have recently attracted significant interest in the deep learning and computer vision areas, due to the wide range of applications in film and game industry as well as in teleconferencing and in video compression. This research project aims to tackle face editing both on synthetic and on real images leveraging the high quality image generation of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). Specifically, this project focuses on providing novel solutions for face editing and face reenactment for real-world applications.

I have received my Diploma of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) in November 2017. From January 2018 until June 2020 I was working as a Research Assistant in Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) in Thessaloniki. From September 2020 I started my PhD.
