PLEASE NOTE: We sadly will not be running any Outdoor Learning Days in 2024. We are however working hard behind the scenes with our academic colleagues in the School of Education to revamp our Outdoor Learning Days for Summer 2025. Full details and dates will be posted here as soon as they are available.
Our Outdoor Learning Days provide an opportunity for exploratory learning that supports curriculum topics, working with our primary education students and qualified teaching staff.
Pupils will take part in a range of outdoor activities such as pond dipping, meadow and woodland exploration. The day gives pupils the opportunity to experience nature in our modern hillside campus. The activities will culminate in a mini-graduation ceremony in one of our lecture theatres
Outdoor learning days generally run from 10.00am until 2.30pm, although accommodations can be made where necessary.
