About

I joined Kingston University in 2020 as a senior lecturer, initially lecturing on the pedagogy modules of the BA Primary Education Degree. To date, I have over 15 years' experience teaching and leading in a range of London schools. In addition to teaching Physical Education across key stage 2, 3 and 4 I have enjoyed various posts within education including managing Physical Education department's becoming a Lead practitioner in Physical education, whole school teaching and learning lead, educational consultancy across a range of settings and schools as well as assistant headteacher.

 In 2023 I was appointed the route lead for the PGCE Secondary Physical Education, and I am excited and passionate about combining my contemporary experience with academic interests of Physical education and educational pedagogy. My academic interests centre around aspects of Physical Education such as meaningful P.E. and teaching theory through practical. Presently, I am currently undertaking a Master's Degree in Research (MRes) at Kingston University where my initial research ideas are formulating around leadership, ethnicity in Physical Education and active learning.
