I have held a senior band 7 post within the Critical Care circle since 2003 where I not only gained management experience, leading a team of band 5 & 6 nurses, but also played a key role in the educational and training provision of the Unit

I joined NHS Blood & Transplant in May 2009. During this time, I worked as a Specialist Nurse for Organ Donation (SNOD) in a number of Hospitals within London & South East regions. I currently work as a Professional Development Specialist (PDS) within NHSBT & have developed in this role now for over 2 years. I have a dual role supporting and developing the educational & development needs of South East (SE) Organ Donation Services Team as well as a national role supporting trainees joining the organisation. I am about to commence my PGCert in Multidisciplinary Healthcare Simulation at Birmingham University.

I have worked part time as a part time lecturer in Simulated learning and clinical skills at the School of Nursing for the last 2 years.
