Ms Nikoleta Syreti

About

Nikoleta graduated as a Registered Children's Nurse from Anglia Ruskin University, in 2002.  Thereafter she completed her BSc (Hons) in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting) at the University of Hertfordshire and Post-Graduate Certificate in Management Studies at Buckinghamshire New University. She joined Kingston University in 2022 as an Associate Professor in Practice Education. She has previously worked at Buckinghamshire New University as a Senior Lecturer in the Practice Learning Unit and at Middlesex University as a Children's Nursing and CPD lecturer.  Prior to that I have held roles of increasing responsibility within the NHS.

She is an NMC Registered Teacher and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  She has successfully completed an internship with the Drug and Alcohol Research Centre in Middlesex University conducting her MSc in Nursing Studies dissertation. She is also the Secretary of the Children and Young People Nurse Academics UK (CYPNAUK).

She has been nominated twice for the Student-Led Academic Staff Member of the Year and Most Inspiring Teacher Awards and won the 2017 Teaching Award for the Academic Staff Member of the Year for School of Health & Education.
