Ms Su Kler

Over the last twenty years I have enjoyed various school posts in mathematics and whole school leadership. I have also led various mathematics curriculum projects across a range of schools (primary, secondary, special education needs, pupil referral units) whilst working as a Specialist Schools Academies Trust Lead Practitioner, an Advanced Skills Teacher and an Educational Consultant. Currently I also work as a Freelance Consultant for two educational charities and a university. This work involves delivering training sessions to school staff, helping evolve national school projects, delivering pupil enrichment sessions and teaching on a mathematics enhancement course.

I consolidated some of my experiences by completing a Masters in Educational Leadership and Innovation  with Warwick University, this involved completing a research project on developing personal finance education within the mathematics curriculum; including tracking the origins and developments of financial education through the PSHE education and mathematics curriculum.

These experiences inform my contribution to the BA Education degree at Kingston University.
