Sue's role within Kingston University is as a Sub-Regional Assessor and Senior Lecturer which she enjoys. Sue is also a Teaching Consultant with the Teaching Partnership and a mentor with the Beyond Barriers mentoring scheme.

Sue has a range of experience within the field of Social Work and Social Care where she has worked for over 25 years. Sue has worked in a variety of statutory settings and has a particular interest in Child Protection, Children Looked After, Fostering and Adoption and Special Guardianship. Sue is also a Social Work member of a Fostering and Permanency panel. She enjoys working with a range of learners and is an ASYE lead & primary assessor for Newly Qualified Social Workers. Sue thoroughly enjoys enhancing the learning of others and has a special interest in Working with Difference. She enjoys learning herself and has recently completed a masters in advanced social work.
