Study law

Our qualifying law degrees are designed and delivered by research-active legal practitioners. You'll be encouraged to take a practical, hands-on approach to your legal studies. Our professional partnerships will enable you to gain work placements in real work scenarios and our established pro bono Community Legal Advice Centre allows you to gain hands-on practical experience of advising clients on their legal problems.

Our law degrees comes with Professional Experience, which will place you in the real world. It will enable you to acquire the relevant work experience and develop critical skills. You'll have the opportunity to undertake up to two professional internships in a law firm or in a law-related field or take professional modules in Mediation and/or Professional Practice and Ethics. This professional experience will help you gain valuable experience in preparation for securing a job role after you graduate.

Through the generous support of Kingston alumnus Peter Isola (LLB Law, 1981) we are able to offer one fully-funded (100% of fees) scholarship for a student enrolling on the undergraduate Law with professional experience LLB (Hons) course for 2020/2021. Please see our course page below for more information.
