Your graduation ceremony is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate your achievements with the University, fellow graduates, family and friends.

You've made it!

This website will help you make sure everything is just right on the day – no last-minute panics or I-didn't-know-what-to-do moments – so graduation becomes one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

Don't forget that this is where you will find all the latest, important updates. Check back regularly so you don't miss what is going on at your graduation!

If there's anything this website doesn't answer, then contact us using the online query form, making sure you check our FAQs first.

When is my graduation ceremony?

  • Ceremonies for all postgraduates and some undergraduates will take place Monday 15 – Wednesday 17 January 2018.
  • Ceremonies for undergraduates who are expecting to receive their results in June 2018, will take place between Thursday 19 – Friday 27 July 2018. More information will be available in spring 2018.
  • You will receive an invitation email from the graduations team confirming the date and time of your graduation ceremony. You are advised not to make any travel or accommodation arrangements until you have received this email. The University cannot be held liable for any costs incurred for travel or accommodation.
  • There are exceptions, so you are advised to wait until you have received your invitation email.
  • This website will be updated in the autumn when dates and times for January 2018 ceremonies are confirmed.

How to get your certificate if you don't attend your ceremony or need it before the ceremonies have taken place

What to do if you're not coming to your ceremony

It's important that you let us know if you do not intend on coming to your ceremony so that we can send you your certificate. Once you have received your invitation email, please log on to OSIS  and let us know where you would like us to post your certificate to by the ticket booking deadline. Failure to inform us if you are not attending may result in your certificate not being sent to you.

If you did not attend your graduation ceremony and have not received your certificate, please read this key information to find out how to receive it.

If you did not get a chance to attend your graduation, we are able to offer you the opportunity to have a photo in an official Kingston University gown, with our professional photographers, either on campus or in a Kingston town centre venue. Find out more...

What to do if you need your certificate before your ceremony

If your graduation ceremony is taking place more than two months after your award date, you can request your certificate by completing our online form. Please note that if you receive your certificate before your ceremony, you will not receive another one during the ceremony.
