Graduation ceremonies

Your graduation ceremony is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate your achievements with the University, fellow graduates, family and friends.

You've made it!

This website will help you make sure everything is just right on the day – no last-minute panics or I-didn't-know-what-to-do moments – so graduation becomes one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

Don't forget that this is where you will find all the latest, important updates. Check back regularly so you don't miss what is going on at your graduation!

If there's anything this website doesn't answer, then contact us using the online query form, making sure you check our FAQs first.

When is my graduation ceremony?

  • You will receive an invitation email from the graduations team confirming the date and time of your graduation ceremony. You are advised not to make any travel or accommodation arrangements until you have received this email. The University cannot be held liable for any costs incurred for travel or accommodation.
  • Ceremonies in January will take place on 9, 10 and 11 January 2019. Click here to see which courses are graduating when. Your award must be agreed by Thursday 29 November 2018 in order for you to attend your ceremony.
  • Everyone who achieves an award in their final year is invited to a graduation! If you have received your results (on OSIS) by Wednesday 26 June 2019, we'd love it if you could come to your ceremony taking place between 17 26 July 2019.
  • There are exceptions, so you are advised to wait until you have received your invitation email.
  • Keep up to date with the latest news about your graduation ceremony by liking our Kingston University Graduations: Class of 2018 Facebook page.
  • Please note: the faculty of Health, Social Care and Education ceremony is organised by the faculty. They are taking place on 14 March 2019 For information about their graduations, please visit their website.

How to get your certificate if you don't attend your ceremony

It's important that you let us know if you do not intend on coming to your ceremony so that we can send you your certificate. Please log on to OSIS once you have received your ceremony invitation and let us know where you would like us to post your certificate by the ticket booking deadline. Failure to inform us if you are not attending may result in your certificate not being sent to you.
