Keeping the memory alive through art

We invited young people living or studying in the Kingston area to submit a piece of art to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp and help keep the memory of those killed in Holocaust alive.

Selected artworks were displayed during the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames' Holocaust Memorial Day on 1 February 2015, where prizes were awarded for the winning entries by deputy mayor of Kingston, Councillor Cathy Roberts.

The exhibition will now be mounted on public display at Kingston Surbiton and District Synagogue.

Please note that the art can be viewed before and after scheduled services at the synagogue. To enquire about viewing the work, please ring 020 8339 2689 or email admin@kingston-synagogue.org.uk
