Social work seminar – 'The Law Commission's Review of the Deprivation of  Liberty Safeguards'

The School of Social Work at Kingston University and St George's, University of London offers regular evening seminars at their Kingston Hill campus. In the third seminar of the Autumn 2015 programme, Tim Spencer-Lane from the Law Commission will consider the review of mental capacity legislation.

All our seminars are delivered by leading national and international researchers, policy makers and commentators and focus on issues of topical and contemporary importance. The seminars are open to all staff and students at Kingston University and at St George's, University of London, all staff in local social services organisations in the statutory, voluntary and private sectors, and to service users and carers and their organisations who assist with the social work education programmes at the University.
