Electric dreams of Formula E: Talk with Motorsport supremo and change visonary Alejandro Agag

Alejandro Agag is co-founder and CEO of Formula E Holdings - the first and only FIA backed global motor racing championship using cars powered solely by electricity.

The Formula E Championship completed its first season in June 2015 with a thrilling finale at Battersea Park, London. Formula E races are held in the heart of global cities, where environmental concerns and rapid urban growth are calling for urgent clean mobility solutions.

Mr Agag sees the research and development of electric racing cars as a catalyst for the development of tomorrow's clean city cars. With over a decade of motorsports experience and years of shaping global and social issues as a politician, Alejandro is determined to revolutionize the world of clean mobility on the racetrack, city streets and consumer markets. Mr Agag is also an advocate for fan engagement in motorsport, and through Formula E has introduced innovations such as the Fan Boost, where fans vote online for their favourite driver to receive a five-second power boost of 30kW(40bhp).
