Thinking Sound: from nature to the posthuman

The Audio Culture Research Unit (ACRU), a School of Performance and Screen Studies initiative, presents its first conference. ACRU is a platform for research exchange, faculty seminars and series of events that explore the sonic aspects of culture, based at Kingston University in London.

Our keynote speaker Professor Paul Hegarty (University College Cork), will present a paper entitled ‘The Earth Sublimes, in Terror. A Speculation on a General Ecology of Sound'.
