An evening with Richard Cohen, non-fiction author

Please join us for the new season of the Kingston Writing School Reading and Lecture Series.

Richard Cohen is the former publishing director of Hutchinson and Hodder & Stoughton and the author of Chasing the Sun, By the Sword, and How To Write Like Tolstoy. Works he has edited have won the Pulitzer, Booker and Whitbread/Costa prizes, and more than twenty have been bestsellers.

For seven years he was visiting professor in creative writing at Kingston University. Program director of the Cheltenham Festival of Literature for two years, he has written for the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times Book Review and most British quality newspapers.

Refreshments will be served from 6.30pm and the lecture will begin at 7pm. All are welcome.
