Louise Fisher, Human Resources Director, Xerox Europe and Chair of the CIPD

Louise is the Human Resources Director for Xerox EMEA. Her role is to lead the HR function, she is a Board Director on a number of Xerox Boards, has responsibility for the Xerox Ethics processes in Europe and she also supports the European Senior Leadership Team in business and transformation programmes. Louise joined Xerox in 2006 as HR Director for GDO, the technology outsourcing business. Prior to joining Xerox, Louise held business operations and Board level HR roles in a variety of international, blue-chip organizations.

Louise specialized in training, management and organization development in the retail and hotel industries, working for several years with such brands as Woolworth's, Top Shop/Top Man and the Forte Hotels and Restaurants Group. Louise later became a Board Member and Group HR Director for the Hurst Publishing Group, a group of printing, publishing and graphic arts companies. She then joined ICL/Fujitsu Services where she was UK HR Director and the EMEA HR Director for the IT outsourcing business. Louise was appointed in April 2015 to the Chair of the Board of the CIPD. For six years, Louise was a non-executive director and sat on the Executive Board of the CIPD and a member of the audit committee. Louise is the Chair of the CIPD's Nominations' committee and a member of the CIPD's Remuneration Committee.

Dr Selin Kudret, Lecturer in Human Resource Management, Kingston University

Dr Selin Kudret is Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Kingston Business School and a member of Kingston's renowned Centre for Research in Employment, Skills and Society (CRESS). Her research focuses on employer branding, corporate social responsibility, person-organisation fit, and methodological issues in organisational psychology. Prior to her academic career, she gained several years of HR experience in various managerial and specialist roles in industry. Selin has extensive experience of designing and leading large-scale international research and consultancy projects. She has developed evidence-based HR solutions for organisations, such as Standard  Chartered Bank and the Post Office. Selin is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, an associate academic member of the CIPD, and academic member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the Academy of Management USA, the EAWOP, and the British Academy of Management.

19:00 - welcome and start of presentation
20:30 - drinks reception
21:30 - finish & departure

The registration desk will be in the Atrium of the Business School and open from 6.30pm on the day. The presentations will start at 7pm (Room 026), followed by the drinks reception.
