Philosophy Departmental Lecture: John Stuart Mill and Harriet Taylor Mill, ‘On the Subjection of Women'

Focusing each week on a major figure in the history of Western philosophy, the lectures aim to introduce you to that thinker's work, usually through the discussion of one of her or his emblematic works. These 50-minute lectures require no previous knowledge of philosophy and are suitable for all people at all levels, but particularly for final year undergraduate and postgraduate students.
