You will learn about the different types of open access publishing (gold and green) to help you identify which method is appropriate for your research. There will also be opportunities to discuss funder mandates and future REF requirements. The session will be framed around the Kingston University Open Access Publishing Policy and demonstrate tools, including the Research Repository, that can assist you. The workshop will cover journal, conference and book publishing predominantly but please feel free to bring examples of other types of publishing to be discussed.
