Kingston Singers' summer workshop: finding your voice

Do you love singing? Have you heard about the Kingston Singers choir but weren't sure if you could spare the time to join for a whole term? Then these summer workshops might be for you. The Collegiate Music department is running three summer workshops this month on Monday 11, Friday 22 and Monday 25 June.

The workshops will be led by veteran choirmaster Sam Evans between 6 and 7.15pm at the Rose Theatre (David Jacob's Room or Circle Bar - to be confirmed). Tell your friends and colleagues - everyone is welcome. You don't have to be a great singer or be able to read music.

Session 1: Finding Your voice - everyone can sing

Session 2: Higher/Stronger/Longer - techniques for extending your range and improving your breath control

Session 3: 60 minute Superstars - putting a performance together in one hour

The cost will be a one-off fee of £10 (£5 students and concessions) for the three workshops. You can attend any or all of the sessions but the fee stays the same.

Booking will be through the Rose Theatre Box Office - coming soon.
