Title: The National Institute for Health Research clinical academic pathway: my experience

More about the speaker:

Dr Keith Couper is an assistant professor in emergency and critical care at the University of Warwick and University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

A critical care nurse by background, Keith's research interests focus on clinical trials and observational studies in the areas of critical care and cardiac arrest. His PhD examined the use of debriefing following cardiac arrest. In 2015, he was awarded an NIHR post-doctoral fellowship to investigate the role of mechanical chest compression devices at in-hospital cardiac arrest (COMPRESS-RCT).
