The Reader and Kingston University

The event will include an introduction to The Reader's Shared Reading revolution, followed by a get together with Kingston University Big Read, Kingston University Reading Group Project, Joel Community Services' reading group and Kingston University storytelling group at Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers to discuss reading with diverse groups.

Discover the power of literature and how sharing it in good company brings us closer together, closer to ourselves and can change lives.

With readings from Howard Cunnell (Fathers and Sons, 2018) and India Hosten-Hughes (A Cup of Tea and a Tickle of Rum, 2016).

This is a free event with refreshments provided. Spaces are limited.
