Calling all engineers! Following last year's success, Kingston University is hosting the 2019 London Leaders Awards, and we are asking for engineers to come along to our Grading Day to step into the creative minds of primary and secondary children, and grade this year's competition entries.
Last year thousands of pupils entered the Primary Engineer & Secondary Engineer Leaders Award and this year we are expecting even more! We are inviting engineers to join us to help grade the entries at what promises to be an inspirational event. As the ideas and thoughts of children between the ages of 4 - 18 are inspirational, thoughtful, insightful and frequently hilarious. As a small incentive, limited edition badges will be offered to those who help, and certificates provided to recognise your contribution.
It is hugely inspirational for children to know that engineers have read and graded their entries. These events help demonstrate just how much engineers care about the engagement of young people with engineering.
If you have an hour or a day we would sincerely appreciate your time. If you can attend for longer than 1 hour please just select the time you will arrive when you register.
