A Masterclass: Involving Children and Young People in Research
Are you planning or undertaking research about children or young people's health and social care experiences and services?
Would you like to learn more about how best to ensure that children and young people are involved in the design and process of that research?
Involving children and young people in the design and delivery of health and social care research should ensure that research, and resulting services and treatments, better reflects their experiences, needs and priorities. There is also increasing recognition that involving children and young people in research requires different considerations to involving adults.
This interactive half-day masterclass is aimed at researchers who want to learn more about involving children and young people in their research. It will cover:
The masterclass will be delivered by Dr Louca-Mai Brady and Duncan Barron, members of the Centre for Public Engagement with many years' experience of patient and public involvement in research, including expertise in involving children and young people in health and social care research.
