Abstract:
Mario Tronti is a philosopher and political theorist best known as one of the founders of the theory of operaismo (workerism), and an editor of the Italian journals Quaderni Rossi (1961) and Classe Operaia (1963). He is a member of the Italian Senate.

The lecture will be followed by reception (19.00-20.30) to mark the launch of the first English translation of Tronti's Workers and Capital (Verso, 2019) & to welcome new postgraduate students to CRMEP.
