The Open Science Roadshow

Research governance and assessment is moving towards an increased interest in reproducibility and openness, for example, in requiring these elements to be addressed in institutions' Environment Statement of their Research Excellence Framework 2021 submissions. Concomitantly, some Social Sciences have been going through a reform movement since the early 2010s, focussing particularly on improving practices and methods towards replicability and reproducibility. This seminar will comprise of four short talks discussing these issues and introducing some of the proposed solutions:

  • Replication and credibility: the renaissance of Social Sciences (Amélie Gourdon-Kanhukamwe)
  • Registered Reports: results as a dead currency in quality evaluation (Emma Henderson)
  • Harking 101 (Frédéric Vallée-Tourangeau)
  • Research on research (Gaëlle Vallée-Tourangeau)

All interested parties are welcome to attend this event.
