Functional genomics and single-cell transcriptomics for schistosomes

This will be an excellent opportunity to hear about some of the cutting-edge research that is currently taking place in Dr Rinaldi's Research Group at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. Schistosomes are devastating parasites of humans that affect over 200 million people worldwide. In this seminar Dr Rinaldi will discuss his work on functional genomics, high-throughput transcriptomic analyses, and single-cell sequencing to study the role of parasite genes and their interactions with the hosts.

Booking is essential to attend this event.
