The world's largest architecture festival, Open House London, is reopening the UK's capital city. The annual event sees dozens of London boroughs throwing open their buildings for the public to explore. This year is online, but if you think you're done with all things virtual, think again.
Open House London is about to blow you away with free access to over 800 iconic buildings old and new. Kingston University is showcasing the brand-new Town House alongside the Mill Street Building at Knights Park, Dorich House Museum and Picker House on Kingston Hill, part of The Stanley Picker Trust.
In the year that people across the world barely opened their front doors, the phrase ‘open house' is not one that any of us will associate with 2020. But this is the year we explored alternative and imaginative ways to come together.
What can I see?
Plus at 2.00pm on Saturday 19 September you can watch a specially created film featuring performing arts and fashion students from Kingston School of Art, highlighting the architecture of Town House. We've had a sneak preview and can say prepare to be thrilled!
