SEC Lunchtime Lectures: Exercise for health and performance, the limiting factors of disease and injury

Join Kingston University's Associate Professor in Health & Exercise Prescription, Dr Hannah Jayne Moir on your lunchbreak in discussion on exercise for health and performance, the limiting factors of disease and injury.

Dr Moir's research interest spans the use and application of exercise prescription in the management of health conditions and the exercise physiology of endurance running. This talk will cover the application and use of exercise/physical activity for managing conditions such as sarcoidosis, lymphoma and metabolic risk factors, as well as the perspectives of exercise physiology for endurance performance with a focus on injury and recovery patterns in endurance running.
