Film screening: Crooks on Campus

The Crooks on Campus research project will be screening their film with guest speaker Tony Sales, alongside a representative from City of London Police to introduce the film/session and do a Q&A afterwards.

A growing number of students are being targeted by criminal gangs to launder money through their student bank accounts. New figures show that 3 in 5 students have been approached in person or online to become a money mule. Even more worrying is that 52% didn't know what a money mule was and 47 % thought it was okay to let someone use their bank account to transfer money.

About the speaker
Co-founder Tony Sales had the vision for We Fight Fraud when he first realised how misunderstood the criminal world – he formerly inhabited – is.

He leads all operations and is a popular media figure due to his ability to articulate threats, vulnerabilities and solutions. Tony is one of very few people to have ever worked at the summits of both organised crime and fraud and loss prevention. Dubbed "Britain's Greatest Fraudster" by the British media, Tony provides invaluable advice on fraud and loss prevention strategies.

Booking is essential to attend this event.
